A Fisher of Men and of Salmon

It's always enjoyable to pull these dog salmon out of the Nooksack River. As for eating, they smoke well; but I would rather have a king, and a silver is even better. As for success, fishing for salmon is a lot like a covenant of works, if the knots aren't tied perfectly, I am in trouble.

  1. Did you catch that yesterday or is that from some time ago?

  2. Hi Wes, this one was caught a while ago. Next season! Fraser or Nooksack?

  3. Does the Nooksack get crowded? Some spots on the Fraser can see a couple of thousand people. That's not a lot of fun.

  4. Hey, Nice fish!!

Since I was never able to go fishing with you this summer is there any fishing to be done in March or are you going to be out of town?

  5. The Nooksack is wide open--tougher to fish, though. I have heard that about the Fraser, but I am sure we can find some open spots.

  6. Hi Mark, going to miss you on this one, but maybe this coming summer we can get you back up here. The best of course is to go with Rev. Cammenga on the Bay, he knows where all the Salmon are.
